Armed Man Taken Into Custody After Standoff In Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA (CBSLA) — A man was taken into custody Friday after a standoff with police in Santa Monica.
Police shut down the area of 18th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard. The standoff started at about 3 a.m., but it's not clear what led up to it.
The man was believed to be armed with a weapon. He was taken into custody at about 5:40 a.m.
