Power Outage Leaves Thousands Of Customers In The Dark In S.F. Valley
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A power outage left about 8,700 customers in Studio City and Sherman Oaks in the dark Wednesday night.
The lights went out after a couple of transformers exploded at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power electrical substation at 4250 Coldwater Canyon at about 8:45 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
As of 11 p.m., there was no estimated time of when power will be restored.
