Police Will Ask Public's Help To Track Down Suspect Who Attacked Female Bus Driver

LOS ANGELES (   —  Authorities on Monday will ask the public's help to find a violent suspect who attacked a female bus driver last week in West Hills.

Sheriff's deputies and Metro officials will hold a joint news conference Monday at 2 p.m. in front of Metro headquarters (1 Gateway Plaza) to discuss the attack.

The incident occurred just after 10:30 last Monday evening at the corner of Victory and Valley Circle Boulevards, said Metro's Paul Gonzales.

The driver is reportedly recovering at the home of relative, he said.

Authorities said they will release images of their suspect at the press conference including a BOLO (be on the lookout) warning.

Metro officials said they will also detail measures being taken or planned to protect drivers from future assaults, Gonzales said.
