The naked mole rat apparently lives ten-times longer than ... uh.... un-naked mole rats. And as an added bonus, it's cancer resistant. So scientists are studying it, to see if it can teach anything to humans.
Well, of course it can: it can teach us that we can live nearly forever, just as long as we don't mind doing so , with wrinkly purple skin, teeth that could eat an apple through a picket fence, and -- oh, yes -- a tail. (Insert your 'aging celebrity'-joke here. -Ed.)
The only question I would ask is -- what does the mole think?
