Nationals To Promote Super Prospect Bryce Harper For Game Against Dodgers
(CBS) -- The Washington Nationals are set to promote the first overall pick from the 2010 amateur draft, Bryce Harper.
The 19-year-old will replace Ryan Zimmerman on the roster.
" This isn't the coming-out party for Bryce that we had in mind," Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said Friday on a conference call. "This isn't the optimal situation developmentally."
Harper is expected to play on Saturday at Dodger Stadium.
