Man stabbed to death in University Park
A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found stabbed to death near the Los Angeles Convention Center early Tuesday morning.
It was reported at around 2:45 a.m. near Washington Boulevard and Oak Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers arrived and found the victim, since identified as 42-year-old Ryan Wainscott, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
Investigators have not yet released any suspect information or a motive in the incident.
