Man Jailed For Stalking Paris Hilton Charged With Violating Restraining Order
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A man, who was arrested Monday after allegedly being spotted near Paris Hilton's Malibu home, has been charged with a misdemeanor count of violating a restraining order.
James Rainford remains jailed following his arrest.
Deputies detained him Monday after they got a call about a man standing on the beach looking at Hilton's home on PCH.
Back in April, Rainford attacked Hilton's then-boyfriend as the pair left a Van Nuys courthouse and was sentenced to seven months in jail.
He was released last month because of jail overcrowding.
Rainford is accused of violating a protective order that forbids him from being within 200 yards of her.
