M3.6 Quake Rattles Lancaster Area; No Damage Reported
PASADENA (CBS) — A small quake rattled a section of southern Kern county early Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 3.6-magnitude temblor struck at 3:47 a.m. at a depth of 3.1 miles with an epicenter located 9 miles south-southeast of Stallion Springs in the Greater Tehachapi area and 31 miles northwest of Lancaster, according to a computer-generated USGS report.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.
