Authorities Detain Man Armed With Machete In Malibu
MALIBU (CBSLA) — Both Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department units were engaged with an armed subject in the Malibu/Lost Hills area Sunday afternoon.
Reportedly armed with a machete, the man prompted law enforcement to close the Pacific Coast Highway at Coastline Drive at around 12:30 p.m.
PCH was reopened at around 3:45 p.m. after the suspect was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
