FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — A juvenile corrections officer who authorities allege left behind cocaine and a loaded firearm when he checked out of a hotel in Anaheim has been charged in the case.

Robert Dandrea Minor, 51, of Hercules has been charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, the Orange County district attorney's office said in a written statement.

"Minor is accused of checking out of a Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, and leaving behind a fanny pack containing a loaded firearm, Glock 20 handgun, and .45 grams of cocaine in the hotel room," the statement said.

Prosecutors said Minor - a 51-year-old juvenile corrections officer for the Probation Department in San Francisco - was on a family vacation to Disneyland at the time.

Anaheim police were called by hotel security and investigated, the statement said.

Minor faces a maximum sentence of four years in state prison, if convicted.
