Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 3)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — We can expect mostly clear skies across the Southland Friday morning.
A mild off-shore flow will help us warm up a bit in downtown Los Angeles.
Over the past three and a half weeks, we've had only two days with temperatures at average levels. Friday might be the third.
For the weekend, a cut-off low nudges toward the coast, which should bring some rain to the Central Coast. Our chances in the LA area are still up in the air.
Timing is difficult on this system as it is a cut-off low (weatherman's woe). Nevertheless, I'm going with the slower model, which would give us a light rain chance late Sunday or early Monday... and if I went with my gut I would say we are going to stay dry.
I can guarantee we will be cooler than Friday, so look for a cool down and some more clouds into the weekend.
Temperatures stay below average into next week.
Coastal - low 70s
Basin - upper 70s
Valleys -low 80s
Deserts - low 80s
