Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (February 22)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — We have some great weather on tap for Wednesday. Temperatures are running way above average. We'll be in the 80s for the Basin and the valleys. High pressure and an off-shore flow will keep us mostly sunny and dry.
There are wind advisories in effect for Wednesday morning because of that off-shore flow, but they will expire later in the day. Look for slightly cooler weather on Thursday and Friday. A trough moving in for the weekend will push our highs back down into the 60s.
Look for cool weather for most of next week as an active storm track keeps us windy, cool, and partly cloudy. There is the possibility of some rain late next week, but it's so far out that I don't put a lot of faith in that long range model.
Beaches - mid 70s
Basin - low 80s
Valleys - mid 80s
Deserts - mid 70s
Mountains - low 50s
