Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 4)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Some low clouds have returned this morning as a trough passes through the West Coast.
This broad trough will slowly traverse the West Coast over the next 24 hours. We will see some increased winds and cooler temperatures with this system.
There is a wind advisory for the mountains of Los Angeles and Ventura counties, as well as the western Mojave Desert. Those gusty winds could spread out to valley areas later tonight, but right now, there are no advisories for those areas.
We will warm up as the trough exits, and high pressure builds in behind it.
Look for temperatures to return to the 70s by Saturday and Sunday.
We could even get some 80s over the weekend. Right now, it looks like another trough moves in for the middle of next week. The long range models are hinting at the possibility of some moisture, but it's a little too early to tell if that's really going to happen.
