Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 3)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — High pressure will still dominate Tuesday, so expect sunny skies and warm weather.

Daytime highs will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s. The winds have relaxed, but the general flow is still out of the north and northeast.

By Wednesday, a trough of low pressure approaches the West Coast, so we will see significant cooling.

The front will pass by Thursday. Up north, it may translate into some wet weather, however, there won't be rain in the LA area. It will just be breezy, cool, and partly cloudy.

We will clear things out for Friday. The weekend looks great with high pressure building into next week, when we will see above-average temperatures.

Valleys - upper 70s to low 80s
Deserts -low 80s
Mountains - upper 50s
