Investigation underway after man shot in the leg in downtown Los Angeles
An investigation is underway after a man was shot in the leg in downtown Los Angeles early Monday morning.
It happened at around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Fifth Street and S. Broadway, according to Los Angeles Police Department investigators.
They arrived at the scene and found the victim, only described as a man in his 50s, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
Investigators have not yet provided information on a suspect or motive in the shooting.
