During the 2008 financial crisis, Jill Nakano said goodbye to her corporate job and started her own surfing company. At first it was just for the 2-legged kind, but after her dog wouldn't take no for an answer and joined her on her own surfboard, she started teaching the 4-legged kind to surf as well.

Shred Mfg

At Shred Mfg, they are taking surfboard creation to the next eco-friendly level. Thanks to the collaboration between Ryan Harris and Marcelo Gagliardi, they are upcycling the by-products of surfboard creation into skateboards – 100% recycled – in addition to other lifestyle products like coasters, soap dishes and more.
