Huntington Beach Police Nab Man For Allegedly Stabbing Wife, Self Multiple Times

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities say a Huntington Beach husband repeatedly stabbed his wife and himself Thursday.

Officials said both are expected to survive.

Police said they were called to the 6100 block of Edinger Aveue to respond to a domestic violence call around 9:40 a.m.

On arrival, they found a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital.

A short while later, they also found a male with stab wounds.

A preliminary investigation revealed the man and woman had a dispute and he stabbed her several times. Police said the man's wounds appear to be self-inflicted.

The investigation is on-going.
