Homicide Detectives Investigate Death Of 6-Month-Old Infant In Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Monday investigated the circumstances surrounding the death of a 6-month-old infant in Hawthorne.
On Sunday, officers were sent to the 12100 block of Birch Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported the female infant to a hospital where she later died.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
