Multi-car crash leaves 5 injured near 101 Freeway in Hollywood Hills
Five people were injured during a four-car crash in the Hollywood Hills on Sunday night.
The crash happened at around 6 p.m. in the 2800 block of Cahuenga Boulevard, which runs adjacent to the 101 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, but firefighters said that five people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
Cahuenga Boulevard was closed for nearly two hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage from the road. Firefighters did not say if anyone needed rescuing from their vehicles.
Aerial footage showed four heavily damaged vehicles strewn across the road. Los Angeles Police Department officers were seen surveying the scene of the crash.
