Hemet Boy, 15, Dead In Apparent Shooting
HEMET (CBSLA.com) — Officials in Hemet say a 15-year-old boy was gunned down early Saturday.
Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Montecito Avenue where they found the teen wounded in the middle of the street, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
The deceased has been identified as Maurice Bradford.
The Press-Enterprise reported that police were responding to a call just after midnight about multiple shots fired.
Bradford was taken to Hemet Valley Medical Center where he was later declared dead.
A detective with the Hemet Police Department could not be immediately reached for further details.
