Former 'Queens of the Stone Age' Bassist Arrested For Possession
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Former 'Queens of the Stone Age' bassist Nick Oliveri was facing four felonies in connection with a July 12 standoff with a Los Angeles police SWAT team, it was reported Saturday.
Police allegedly found a loaded rifle along with cocaine and methamphetamine in Oliveri's home after he surrendered to police outside of his home on North Hobart Boulevard.
If convicted of all the charges against him, he could receive up to 15 years in prision.
Oliveri, 39, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer.
He reportedly got into a fight with his girlfriend, and she called police.
