Former Long Beach Poly Star Jackson Has Severe Concussion
PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) -- Eagles coach Andy Reid says it will be a "real stretch" for receiver DeSean Jackson to play Sunday against Tennessee after suffering a concussion.
Jackson was injured in a nasty head-on collision with Atlanta cornerback Dunta Robinson. Jackson had soreness in his neck and
shoulders on Monday.
Typical for concussions, Reid says Jackson did not remember the hit that knocked him out.
Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News predicts Jackson will miss multiple games, and could be out a lot longer than week 9.
