If anyone can make blowing your nose fun, it's the "Sesame Street" gang. This lively and interactive exhibit, which spotlights the wonders of the human body, invites kids to get up close and personal with their insides, outsides and everything in between. An added bonus: Elmo will be on hand for a "meet and greet" every Saturday and Sunday throughout February.

In honor of Black History Month, the 10-member Lula Washington Dance Theatre will perform a contemporary dance program that will include the "Little Rock Nine" suite, a tribute to the students who helped integrate Little Rock Central High. The company was formed in South Los Angeles by Washington, who also choreographed movements of the blue Na'vi tribe in James Cameron's film "Avatar."

In an effort to teach very young children about the joys of the outdoors, the Children's Nature Institute organizes weekly walks that cater to kids ages 2-4 and their parents. This week's journey into Franklin Canyon Park will offer an avian theme. For the first part of the session, children will be able to craft their own beaks, wings and feathers before wearing them on the trail to story time and snack.

Even Southern California kids can get in on the snow action at Glendale's annual Winter Wonderland event in Brand Park. With more than 60 tons of the (man-made) white stuff being trucked in, kids of all ages will be able to make their own snowmen and snow angels. Plastic discs will be provided for four downhill snow slides.

The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra is offering families a modern, hip-hop twist on Prokofiev's classic "Peter and the Wolf" score. The concert will also feature PROJECT Trio, with Greg Pattillo on flute, Eric Stephenson on cello and Peter Seymour on bass. Families can get in on the fun before the show starts by checking out LACO's instrument petting zoo.
