Dodgers Activate RHP Nicasio From DL
CINCINNATI (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated right-hander Juan Nicasio from the 15-day disabled list.
The NL West leaders made the move before Tuesday night's game at Cincinnati.
Nicasio had been sidelined since Aug. 10 with a left abdominal strain. He is 1-3 with a 3.06 ERA and one save in 38 games this season.
The Dodgers optioned right-hander Yimi Garcia to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, creating a roster opening for Nicasio.
