Crews Work To Rescue Female Hiker In Griffith Park
GRIFFITH PARK (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are working to rescue a female hiker in Griffith Park.
The hiker was located Wednesday off the designated hiking trails and in very rugged terrain near the Greek Theater, said Erik Scott, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived on scene and were expected to rappel down from a helicopter.
The hiker wasn't believed to be injured, according to Scott.
No further information was available.
