Crews Knock Down Half-Acre Brush Fire In Tarzana
TARZANA (CBSLA.com) — Crews were on the scene of a brush fire Thursday that burned a total of half an acre in steep terrain.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire broke out shortly before 7 p.m. in the 4000 block of Reseda Boulevard.
The fire was contained shortly after 8 p.m. by about 94 firefighters.
Authorities said the fire slowly burned uphill in a moderately wooded area.
Officials said they attacked the fire from the ground and by air.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
