Crews In Commerce Extricate Motorist Mangled In Tree Crash
COMMERCE (CBSLA.com) — Crews were called in Thursday night to rescue a motorist trapped in a vehicle after colliding with a tree.
It was reported at 10:15 p.m. off the southbound 5 Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol.
The southbound lanes were heavily backed up as crews cleared the scene.
The motorist was transported to a hospital. Further details have not yet been released.
