'Clowns On Rounds' Bring Smiles To Hospital Patients Of All Ages
TORRANCE (CBS) — Laughter is one of the most important treatments at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
"Clowns on Rounds" bring smiles to patients of all ages there after they graduate from the hospital's six-week clown school.
The next session will be Jan. 24 through March 6.
Participants have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn make-up techniques, costuming and balloon tricks. In addition, they may be invited to become hospital volunteer clowns and learn etiquette for working with patients and visitors.
It costs just $25 for materials. For more information, call (310)517-4752 or visit the hospital's Web site.
