Woman's Body Found On Freeway Off-Ramp In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - A woman's body was found Saturday on an off-ramp from the 101 Freeway in Hollywood, authorities said.

The body was discovered at 8:11 a.m. on the Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp to the northbound 101 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Authorities identified the woman as 41-year-old Amber McGloin.

A cause of death has yet to be established.

The California Highway Patrol issued a Sigalert Saturday for the No. 3 lane of the Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp while they investigated.

Around 10:37 a.m., the Sigalert was canceled by the CHP.
