CHP: All NB Lanes Of 14 Fwy Closed Due To Oil Spill In Palmdale
PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — A freeway was shut down Thursday after a big-rig truck overturned and caught on fire in Palmdale.
Shortly before 4 a.m., the incident occurred on the northbound 14 Freeway at Pearlblossom Highway, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
A SigAlert was issued and all of the northbound lanes were subsequently closed due to oil that split in the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
