Chargers Sign 1st-Round Pick Jason Verrett To 4-Year Deal
SAN DIEGO (CBSLA.com/AP) -- The San Diego Chargers have signed first-round draft pick Jason Verrett to a four-year contract.
With Thursday's announcement, all six draft picks are under contract.
Exact number are undisclosed, but under rookie slotting system, Verrett's guaranteed contract should be worth around $7.89 million, including $4.06 million signing bonus.
Verrett, a cornerback from TCU, was taken with the 25th pick.
Last year, he had 39 tackles, 14 pass deflections, two interceptions, one sack and one forced fumble.
