Cause Of Monterey Park House Fire Under Investigation
MONTEREY PARK (CBSLA.com) — The cause of a house fire in Monterey Park was under investigation Tuesday.
Firefighters responded to a call around 1:30 a.m. to the 800 block of Hershey Avenue.
Heavy smoke and fire was seen coming from a single-story home. The fire was declared a knocked down after 15 minutes.
All occupants were accounted for.
One firefighter said there were pack-rat conditions inside in the residence.
Two investigators were on scene.
