Police say that the driver was speeding southbound from Artesia Boulevard and running red lights just before they struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Crescent Avenue.

The suspect fled from the scene instead of stopping to help the victim. Their condition was not immediately known.

Investigators found a Honda emblem at the scene of the crash and they believe it belonged to the car involved. They believe it suffered significant front-end damage and a possibly damaged windshield in the collision.

Anyone who knows more is asked to contact BPPD at (714) 562-3941.
