Of all the breakfast foods, egg dishes usually come out at the top of the list. They're super fast, easy to prepare and delicious all by themselves. Throw in a few accessories like cheese and a roll and you've got a tasty breakfast you can eat on the run. With a little more prep time and additional ingredients, you can make something pretty special. A number of places dedicate the majority of their menus to eggs like Another Broken Egg Cafe or Eggslut, but sometimes the best egg dishes don't need to headline. Its breakfast selection is a great way to start the day. Not only does it have a wide variety of delicious egg dishes to choose from, but you can make a few requests and have a couple of eggs, a slice of cheese and meat sandwiched between a bacon-encrusted maple donut. If that doesn't start your day out right, nothing will. Breakfast is served until 3 p.m.

Serving breakfast until 5 p.m. for all the LA late risers who can't get it together before 3 p.m., Cafe Verona is perfectly located on La Brea and 2nd Avenue. While all of its breakfast menu items are fantastic, it's the eggs Benedict that truly pleases the palate. The basic Benedict comes with ham and homemade hollandaise sauce, the Florentine has tender spinach and the Norvegese is topped with smoked salmon. It's a little pricy but worth every bite.

If you're from the East Coast, it's really difficult to find a great bagel once you start heading west.
