Authorities Hoping To Identify Woman Overcome By Heat In Mission Viejo

MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities in Mission Viejo are hoping the public can help them identify a mystery woman.

She was apparently overcome by heat, but no one knows who she is.

KCAL9's Stacey Butler reported Wednesday from outside Mission Hospital.

The woman is being treated for dehydration.

The woman is described as Asian with brown hair and brown eyes. She is about 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds, Butler reported.

Witnesses said the unidentified woman was at a Citibank in Mission Viejo around 12:30 p.m. when she appeared confused and disoriented.

Paramedics were called, and the woman was rushed to the hospital.

Butler said even eight hours later, the woman was having trouble communicating and reportedly does not know her name.

The woman was not carrying identification. Butler said the only thing she had was a bus pass from Pomona.

If you have any information about the woman's identity, you're asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
