Air Controllers Warn Planned LAX Terminal Unsafe
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A new warning from air traffic controllers at Los Angeles International Airport cautions that a $1.5 billion international terminal under construction may pose a safety hazard.
While the planned $19 million control tower is 257 feet tall, union president Mike Foot says even that great height reportedly may not be enough to see over the new Bradley West terminal that is being built to handle oversized aircraft.
