32nd Annual California Strawberry Festival To Be Held In Oxnard

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Bonnie Weigel joined us on KCAL9 Monday to discuss the 32nd Annual California Strawberry Festival.

The festival will feature more than 50 food and beverage booths that will serve strawberry renditions such as strawberry beer, chocolate dipped strawberries and fried strawberries.

In addition to food, participants will also be able to enjoy musical entertainment, arts and crafts and contests throughout both days.

The grand prize winner will receive a two-night vacation to Welk Resorts and a signature set of chef knives from Cutco Cutlery.

Weigel, who is the CEO of Food Share, is a sponsor of the Strawberry Festival Berry Blast Off.

The festival will be held in Oxnard on May 16 and May 17.
