1 Dead In Santa Paula Helicopter Crash
SANTA PAULA (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed Friday morning in a helicopter crash in Ventura County.
The crash happened in the 900 block of Corporation Street in Santa Paula after the Robinson R22, a two-seat private helicopter, clipped some power lines, the Ventura County Fire Department said.
The site of the crash is near the Santa Paula Airport.
A brush fire broke out, burning less than an acre, before it was quickly extinguished.
The FAA and the NTSB will investigate.
