Michigan bill aims to shield first responders from bystander interference
A bill moving through the Michigan Legislature would penalize anyone who comes within 25 feet of a first responder while they're performing their duties after a verbal warning not to approach them is given. The proposed legislation has passed the House and has been referred to a Senate committee.
