A father of a Monroe Public Schools student filed a federal lawsuit against the Southeast Michigan school district over the circumstances of a transgender athlete playing on a visiting volleyball team.
Chet Hesson will be reinstated to his role as Monroe Public Schools athletic director, the district superintendent said.
