WMU Workshop To Talk Electronic Printing
KALAMAZOO -- Western Michigan University's nationally leading printing program and its guest will highlight the possibilities of printing electronics on paper at a two-day Electronic Printing Workshop Aug. 6 and 7.
Professionals involved in the flexible, printed electronics value chain as well as traditional paper and ink supply chains will benefit from attending.
This workshop features subject matter experts from industry to academia who will explain the dynamics of printing electronic circuitry on paper. End users have been invited to describe specific applications such as packaging, consumer products and healthcare.
Co-sponsored by FlexTech Alliance and Western Michigan University's Center for the Advancement of Printed Electronics (CAPE), the workshop will draw its audience from throughout the flexible, printed electronics value chain and the traditional paper and ink supply chains. Registrants will benefit from the half-day of hands-on demos at WMU's CAPE, which features labs dedicated to all methods of printing including inkjet, screen, rotogravure and flexographic, as well as gravure and flexographic pilot plant facilities. Ample networking opportunities are available in the demos, workshop and networking dinner.
