With Valenti and Foster, Gov. Rick Snyder Talks Roads, Michigan Football [VIDEO]
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Who else wants a check for the repairs they have to suffer on Michigan roads?
Mike Valenti and Terry Foster talked to Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder Tuesday in-studio, where the guy who goes by the moniker "one tough nerd" weighed in on roads, his love of his alma mater the University of Michigan, and more.
"I'm a huge State supporter," the politician claimed, adding when he was asked if they're a team of destiny or luck only that the team is "getting results."
He weighed in on the new entertainment district around the Red Wings arena under construction, praising the Ilitches for vision. "What a wonderful area for an entertainment district," the governor said.
"Good things are going on in Detroit and Michigan, so I'm staying on the gas," Snyder added.
Valenti added that Donald Trump's candidacy, in light of his controversial comments about Muslims, is frightening. "They're absolutely inappropriate," Snyder said.
