Winter Weather Knocks Out Power For Thousands
DETROIT (WWJ) - With ice forming on trees and power lines, there are 16,000 homes and businesses currently without power.
DTE Energy says 4,000 of the outages are in Waterford Township. The utility says the Waterford repairs should be complete in the next couple of hours.
There are also about 1,800 outages in New Baltimore. No word yet on when the power will be turned back on in this area.
