WATCH: Jim Harbaugh Breaks Headset In Sideline Blow-Up

Jim Harbaugh has thrown a number of sideline temper tantrums this season. He chose the wrong time to throw his biggest one yet.

With Michigan protecting a 17-10 lead against Ohio State late in the third quarter, the Wolverines were called for offsides on their own 13-yard line. Harbaugh, seemingly peeved by an earlier face mask penalty, chucked his coaching papers into the air and flung his headset to the ground in disgust.

The resulting unsportsmanlike conduct penalty pushed the Buckeyes to the four-yard line. They ran it in two plays later, cutting Michigan's lead to three points.

It wasn't the first time in the game that Harbaugh went after the referees. He stalked down an official in the first quarter after an Ohio State defender appeared to get away with pass interference.

Harbaugh is quick to come to the defense of his players. But his passion - or his inability to control it - cost the Wolverines on this occasion.
