UP Electronics Shop Earns Perfect Aeropsace Quality Accreditation Score

CALUMET (WWJ) -- Calumet Electronics Corp. announced Friday that its printed circuit board manufacturing plant received reaccreditation from Nadcap, an aerospace industry quality assurance group.

In fact, Calumet Electronics was one of only 16 companies out of 290 printed circuit board manufacturers in the United States to meet the stringent requirements for Nadcap accreditation.

Nadcap accreditation allows the aerospace industry to identify companies that excel at manufacturing quality products by implementing superior processes.

Said Stephen Vairo, president and CEO of Calumet Electronics: "Quality is at the foundation of everything we do. We've always strived to have superior processes in place, and Nadcap -reaccreditation with a zero non-conformance is a natural achievement of which we're very proud."

The reaccreditation certificate is for printed circuit boards and rigid printed boards. The achievement builds on Calumet Electronics' ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications. The company received its first Nadcap certification in Electronics in 2012.

"The Nadcap accreditation further demonstrates our commitment to providing high quality, great service and value in the industry," said Ed Kraai, vice president of quality for Calumet Electronics.
