Trubiquity Implements Cloud System With Supplier Integration For German Firm

TROY -- Trubiquity, a provider of managed file transfer, process automation and integration software, has successfully completed the first phase of a major electronic data interchange cloud project with Dennree, a trading house for organic food and cosmetics in German-speaking countries.

As described by its "ordered today -- delivered tomorrow" axiom, Dennree maintains a highly proficient logistics process for its organic food products. In selecting Trubiquity, Dennree achieved the same high level of process efficiency and security for its information exchange.

The initial phase of the project involved replacing Dennree's existing electronic data exchange system with Trubiquity's cloud based EDI system, TRUedx. This solution encompasses managing electronic invoicing in addition to all other EDI transactions and business processes.

The most important aspect of the implementation was to provide extensive measures to improve process security and data quality. Migration of the initial 200 active EDI enabled suppliers to Trubiquity's TRUedx platform occurred within just a few weeks and during ongoing operations. The next project phase will focus on quickly migrating the remaining 400 suppliers to the new TRUedx system.

"Key considerations in our decision to go with Trubiquity were their many years of proven competence and the company's specialized know-how of business processes in the trade-retail sector. In addition, Trubiquity's WebEDI platform was the only solution that met our requirements. Also, with regard to future demands, the Trubiquity solution offers excellent opportunities," said Jens Schinnerling, purchasing manager at Dennree.

Through use of the TRUedx platform, Trubiquity now manages all EDI transactions for Dennree and its suppliers. In addition to the migration of business processes and suppliers to the Trubiquity solution, the service agreement includes use of the application, technical support for Dennree and its partners, as well as support for the integration of future partners and process improvements.

Peter Thurner, Managing Director of Trubiquity GmbH, said: "The migration of suppliers to the TRUedx system is running as scheduled. Further, we are implementing additional features with regard to data exchange and communication connections. Utilizing our retail industry service and solution expertise developed over the past 25 years, we are pleased to provide a secure, extendable cloud platform and solution to Dennree."
