Tips Sought In Case Of Missing Woman

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - Police in Farmington Hills believe a 29-year-old woman reported missing on August 1 is alive and well.

When her family reported Carmen Miranda-Portelli missing, a cousin said she would not leave home without a word.  Police Chief Chuck Nebus said they hope to meet with Miranda-Portelli, but still need more information on her whereabouts.

Nebus said he won't release any more details because that could compromise the case.  He said they do no expect foul play.

Anyone who has seen Miranda-Portelli is asked to contact the Farmington Hills Police Department Command Desk at 248-871-2610.
