Theron's Blog: A Plea To Bad Drivers
Today was the winter storm to end all winter storms… or so we have been told. I know we got a lot of snow and the road commission was out plowing on my way in this morning at 2:30 am. My issue is with the few drivers that I encountered on my hour and 15 minute drive this morning. I know you think you are Billy-bad ass in your SUV and your big bad trucks, but for those of us in vehicles that don't handle the greatest in a foot of snow, please don't let your necessity to prove you are fearless interfere with my drive. I drove in from Brighton this morning along I-96, I saw approx. 25 other vehicles on the same side of the road with me. At least 15 of those felt the need to either ride my backside for a few miles as their way of telling me I should not be on the same road with them and their big trucks or they would drive into the unplowed area of the road and throw snow into my lane and onto my truck. So here is my plea to all the quote "Bad-Asses" out there. Don't ride my backside and don't cut me and other careful drivers off. I hope I see you in a ditch 5 miles down the road….. And I did see 2 of them in a ditch this morning.
