Alzheimer's is a brain disease that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slow and worsen over time. The greatest know factor of Alzheimer's is increasing age.

The Alzheimer's Association tells us that the disease currently impacts 5 million Americans and is the 6th leading cause of death. Though there is no cure for Alzheimer's, treatments for symptoms and research continue to progress.
