Terry Foster: John Kuester A Bad Fit To Coach Pistons
Auburn Hills -- Rodney Stuckey didn't sound very convincing when he said he could return to the Pistons next season and play under coach John Kuester. His voice cracked and there was a bit of hesitation.
"Yeah, no doubt I could," Stuckey said.
Stuckey claims all the bad blood between him and the coach is behind them.
I am not buying it. There were too many bonfires for this to work another season.

There were side bouts between Kuester and Tracy McGrady, Tayshaun Prince, Austin Daye, Ben Wallace, Stuckey, and, especially, Richard Hamilton. It turned into an outright mutiny when more than half the team skipped a game day shoot-around in Philadelphia in February.
The Pistons end a season of turmoil tonight on the road against the 76ers.
The signs are obvious.
Kuester is a solid chalkboard coach, a career assistant, but he is not a leader.
Kuester wasn't ready for this. On the college and pro level, he's been in charge nine seasons, the last seven with losing records.
